GROUP PROJECT is a fantastic space for gatherings of all kinds: workshops, meetings, birthday parties, talks, DJ nights, brainstorms. We are especially excited to support projects in New Haven and the experiences you’re excited about, like launch parties for your new club, teach-ins about how to give public testimony, or group making activities.
We’re here to partner with you to bring your gathering to life as fellow brainstormers, planners, and hype people. As experienced gather-ers and facilitators, we consider this a big way we can nurture community-building in New Haven.
About the space
The space is a large and flexible room upstairs at 140 Bradley Street, accessed by walking through the Bradley Street Bicycle Co-op. It is roughly 1,000 sq ft and great for events with 30-50 people in attendance. The room is set up to be configured in a variety of ways. We have a bluetooth speaker system, a projector and screen, tables, plenty of chairs, and an assortment of couches and arm-chairs. Resources and materials will continue to expand as we grow. The space is not accessible as it is up one flight of stairs (a huge bummer, we know.) There is a bathroom upstairs.

The space is great for clubs, collectives, and collaborators to get together. Whether you’re just talking together or are in the middle of planning something big, we’ve got you covered with materials like markers, paper, whiteboards, and one thousand sticky notes.
