GROUP PROJECT members support community building in New Haven!


Members will be the heart of GROUP PROJECT. As a member, you get to support community-building projects and join a community of people making New Haven the best place it can be. Your membership sustains the space itself so that it can be a resource for gatherings, meetings, and everything local projects need to do their thing. Plus, it gets you special access to a bunch of the fun! 

Becoming a member of GROUP PROJECT gives you free and discounted access to our events and co-working/open studio days all while supporting the social infrastructure for making cool things happen in New Haven.

Memberships start at $20/month. As a member, you’ll get:
  • Free access to 4-5 community-building events a month (check the calendar!)
  • Free entry to TGIF, our collaborative project coworking + open studio time on Fridays
  • Discounted access to special events and workshops
  • The honor of calling yourself an early member and the warm-fuzzy feeling of supporting projects in New Haven

We know that not everyone can afford a membership. We regularly offer free programming alongside our ticketed events. Members can participate in and fund this work through memberships, allowing us to offer more free programming to all of our community.

Group Memberships

Perfect for clubs, collectives, and scheme teams working on one-off projects

Clubs, collectives, and scrappy teams are responsible for building so much connection, experimentation, and power in New Haven. Imagine what’s possible with abundant space, materials, and central resources to get together. 

Think of GROUP PROJECT like your headquarters or clubhouse; a central space to drop materials, meet together, and dream up your next scheme. 

Memberships start at $100/month – whether you’re planning something for a few months or have ongoing work –  and members get:
  • Exclusive meeting space for up to two 60 minute meetings a month, with access to office supplies and basic craft materials, a printer, wi-fi, AC/heating, and collaborative workspace – plus free access to any of our public coworking hours.
  • Storage shelfspace for things like materials, supplies, or equipment – with more short-term storage available upon request (if, for example, you need to stash a generator or poster board for a weekend).
  • P.O. box-style dropzone for pick-ups or drop-offs open 3-4 days a week. Great for if you’re coordinating a handoff between members but don’t want to deal with the hassle of meeting somewhere at the same time!
  • Discounted access to events, workshops, and access to the Events Library for up to 5 tickets a month
  • Featured page on our website to welcome in new members
  • Dedicated advisory session once a season with Kai or Elise to work through challenges or brainstorm ideas together
